What is impressive in Agia Eirini of Kannavia is the colour and scent of the pine, as well as the rest of the wild vegetation including golden oaks, terebinths and golden sages.

The uncultivated land expanses of Agia Eirini account for approximately 50% of the total surface of the Community, while the cultivated pieces of land are quite limited, since land cultivation does not constitute one of the main occupations of the residents. The majority of the cultivations include vines, fruit trees such as apple trees, almonds, potatoes and some vegetables.

It must also be noted that the cultivation of vines seized in 1990 due to urbanisation. The youth left the Community and the elderly passed away, thus resulting in the abandonment of viticulture.

As far as the fauna of the community is concerned, some of the species one encounters in the village include black snakes, Cyprus snakes, hares, foxes, common wood pigeons, European Turtle Doves and Eurasian Jays.

Finally, it is worth noting that you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Agia Eirini, its flora and fauna by walking along its Nature Trail which starts at the heart of the village.
